NP Hematology/Oncology opening in Evanston, IL Located in Evanston, IL - Chicago 25m; Skokie 10m; Oak Park 30mFull-time; PermanentEmployed Overview: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner opportunity Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team Provide comprehensive care for hematology and oncology patients under physician supervision Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment response Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff Utilize EMR for accurate and timely documentation Oncology experience preferred; new graduate NPs with an oncology RN background will be considered AGNP or FNP certification required; BLS and ACLS required Spanish or Ukrainian language skills are a plus Comp/Benefits: Competitive salary of $120,000-$140,000 Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits Paid time off and 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education Group/Facility Info: Employed position within a nationally recognized healthcare system Practice based at a community hospital in Evanston Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology program Diverse patient population with strong physician and clinical support Patient-centered practice focused on high-quality cancer care About the Area: Evanston is a vibrant lakefront community just north of downtown Chicago, offering the perfect blend of urban amenities and suburban charm.
