Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

• Position: Oncology Locum Tenens Physician
• Location: Findlay, Ohio
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts with on-call and weekend coverage required
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: Late September 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,290-$7,450
• Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic with inpatient rounding and call coverage
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15-20 patients per day

• Board Certified physician in Medical Oncology, Hematology, or a related specialty
• At least 1 year of experience in general community medical oncology and hematology
• Ohio medical license preferred; candidates needing Ohio licensure may be considered
• Experience caring for adult oncology and benign hematology patients
• Ability to provide inpatient call coverage and weekend rounding
• Professional liability insurance meeting required coverage standards
• References preferred, especially for providers with recent locum tenens experience
• Ability to perform all required clinical duties and participate in tumor board as scheduled

• Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology care for new and follow-up patients
• Support inpatient rounding and on-call coverage during assigned weeks
• Manage a mix of oncology and benign hematology cases in a community setting
• Participate in weekly tumor board meetings during on-site weeks
• Collaborate closely with RNs, MAs, and chemotherapy-certified nursing staff
• Deliver high-quality care in a team-based, non-sole provider environment
• Maintain timely communication and documentation throughout the assignment
