Work Hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Rotating Shift
Must be available to work any 8- hour shift
Must be available any days of the week, including weekends
Full Time, 5-day work week
Rotating schedule (days, evenings, nights)

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required And
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field is preferred
Experience
2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
Texas Private Security Level 3 is preferred
Licenses and Certifications
DL - Drivers License (Class C and insurable) upon hire required And
ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 days required And
NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 days required And
CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 days required And
TASER Certification- Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 days required
What You Will Do
Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.
Locks and opens doors according to schedules.
Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.
Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.
Maintains compliance with Texas Health Police policies.
Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.
Fills out incident/offense report forms and composes narratives.
Utilizes critical thinking skills and provides the appropriate level of force for the situation
Responds to and activates the appropriate emergency response code
Interacts with and provides assistance to Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency staff as required

Located on 33 acres in Rockwall just south of interstate 30, Texas Health Rockwall offers 60 inpatient beds for acute medical and surgical needs. The hospital continues to grow and visiting campus today you will find a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, a bariatric clinic, an ambulatory surgery center and a variety of physician practices all dedicated to our evolving community health needs. You will see that our long awaited expansion is well underway! This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
