Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2260 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Trauma experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Extracorporeal experience preferred. - Transplant experience preferred. - Hamilton C6 experience preferred. - Experience with Puritan Bennett and Vyaire Avea preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: - Any additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.

Unit Details: - Neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population. - Transplant and extracorporeal patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: - Clock in on the 8th Floor as early as 6:38 am and report promptly at 6:45 for huddle. - No self-scheduling or special scheduling accommodations permitted. All schedules are assigned based on unit staffing needs. - Every other weekend. - No call required.

Floating Requirements: - Must float between York Street Campus and Saint Raphael Campus. Campuses are 1 block apart and share a parking lot and shuttle.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
