Position Highlights
Texas Health Burleson is an outpatient center that specializes in medical services for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to seniors. We have served Burleson and surrounding communities since 2010 and provide exceptional care to the Burleson, Joshua, Cleburne, and Crowley communities.
We specialize in a variety of outpatient services including advanced diagnostic imaging, physical, orthopedic, and vestibular therapy, cardiac rehab, and more. Plus, we have a fitness center on-site.
Position Responsibilities A Texas Health Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for explaining procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to and during exam, imaging correct anatomical area of interest and pathology according to department protocols, and performing complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Ultrasound Technologist will
assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
correctly send and transfer images to PACS.
work in tandem with staff to ensure laser images from modality or PACS are printed as needed.
operate, care for and maintain equipment.
prepare room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies).

This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
