Work Hours: PRN, (all days - as needed varies) to cover PTO and high census. It could be weekdays and/or weekends. 10-hour shifts

Education:
Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Req And
Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Req
Experience:
2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner; At least 1 year GI Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Req And
NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 30 Days Pref.
Other must be credentialed by Medical Staff Services Upon Hire Req

This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
