ATC Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician for a part-time outpatient assignment in Franklin, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to provide meaningful primary care in a community-focused family medicine practice while enjoying a predictable daytime schedule, no call, and a manageable patient volume. Opportunity Highlights- Location: Franklin, Virginia
- Practice Setting: Outpatient family medicine clinic
- Coverage Dates: September 21, 2026 December 18, 2026
- Schedule: Monday Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.
- Call: None
- Patient Volume: Approximately patients per day
- Patient Population: Primarily adults and geriatrics, with limited pediatric patients; age 16+
- EMR: Epic
- Support: Established family medicine practice team
This role is focused on outpatient primary care, with an opportunity to care for a diverse adult and geriatric population. Typical office procedures include:
- Pap smears
- Diabetic foot exams
- Routine primary care evaluation and management
The practice has not historically required a high volume of in-office procedures, making this a comfortable fit for physicians seeking a primarily clinical primary care assignment.
Requirements- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Active Virginia medical license or ability to obtain prior to the start date
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Active DEA
