Job Description
The position of the Stroke Transfer Coordinator/UKHC is necessary for the safe, effective and efficient care of the patient. Currently managed in the Cardiovascular ICU only.
Qualifications
BSN
3 years
Registered Nurse (RN) + National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) + Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Stroke/neuroscience/ICU background
Critical thinking, attention to detail, flourishes in high pressure situations, able to effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule
Must be able to work three, 12-hour, shifts per week from 7A -730P; will also be required to work some weekends and holidays.
