What You ll Do
- Provide urgent care assessments and treatments to a diverse patient population
- Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D, and splinting
- Interpret X-rays, EKGs, and point-of-care tests
- Manage minor burns, skin lesions, and foreign body removals
- Support airway stabilization and emergency care as needed
- Document thoroughly in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality patient care
What You Need
- Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant clinical experience
- Proficiency in urgent care procedures, including suturing and I&D
- Strong assessment, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
