• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off rotation
• Hours: 36 hours per week

• Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
• Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
• Active Virginia DEA registration
• At least 2 years of recent Pulmonary/Critical Care or ICU experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Ability to work independently in a nocturnist and critical care environment
• Comfort with high-acuity patient care and advanced procedures

• Provide advanced pulmonary and critical care coverage during night shifts
• Evaluate, stabilize, and manage complex ICU and step-down patients
• Perform and assist with procedures, including:
• Central venous catheter placement
• Arterial line placement
• Thoracentesis
• Chest tube insertion
• Pigtail catheter insertion
• Bedside ultrasound
• Flexible bronchoscopy
• Pleural catheter management
• Intubation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Deliver high-quality nocturnist coverage in a fast-paced acute care setting
