Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50
This facility is seeking a Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 13 hours per shift. Shifts are either 7:00 AM-8:00 PM or 7:00 PM-8:00 AM. Includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Coverage through March 31, 2027.
Practice Setting: Inpatient, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
Types of Cases: Critical care cardiac patients, including ventricular assist devices, venoarterial and venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, Impella, and cardiac transplant patients. Daily rounding, patient management, admissions, postoperative care, and procedures.
Patient Load: 8-12 patients per shift; 30 beds in the department.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support; Board Certified Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider required
Licensure Required: Pennsylvania only
