Opportunity:
Board Certified - Critical Care/Intensive Care (Nurse Practitioner)
Job Details:
- Provide critical care services in a cardiac ICU unit with 8-12 patient encounters per shift
- Experience required with VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant management
- Work (3) 13-hour shifts per week (7am-8pm or 7pm-8am), including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Position is available through March 2027
- Perform daily rounding and comprehensive patient management under the guidance of an Intensivist
- Responsible for order entry, admissions, and post-operative management
- Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter, and IABP removal
- Primarily manage HVI CCU patients
- Active Pennsylvania medical license required - no IMLC accepted
- Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
