McLaren Oakland is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for locum coverage at its Lapeer, Michigan satellite clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a consistent three-day schedule, manageable patient volume, and a collaborative oncology team.
Opportunity Highlights- Location: Lapeer, Michigan
- Practice Setting: 100% Adult Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Patient Volume: Approximately patients per day
- Call: Clinic call only, as needed
- EMR: Cerner
- Infusion: Onsite infusion center
- Laboratory: Onsite CBCs
- Recruitment: Ongoing search for a permanent full-time physician
You ll join a multidisciplinary oncology team designed to support physicians and patients throughout their care journey. The practice includes:
- Oncology RNs
- Medical Assistants
- Nurse Navigator
- Social Worker
- Dietitian
- NP support
The physician will provide outpatient medical oncology and hematology care and participate in tumor board , making this a great fit for a physician who values collaborative, comprehensive cancer care.
Qualifications- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology ; truly Board Eligible physicians may be considered
- Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology experience
- Active Michigan medical license
- BLS/ACLS
- Familiarity with Cerner preferred
