How you'll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant to join an employed orthopedic team within a busy, well-respected outpatient practice. Offering a dedicated Monday through Friday office schedule, this role focuses on comprehensive clinical evaluations, conservative management, post-operative care, and minor office procedures, allowing you to practice at the top of your license with the full backing of a supportive orthopedic team and a robust health system network

  • Call structure: None
  • Practice setting: Outpatient Orthopedics
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • NCCPA certified
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Provide full-spectrum outpatient orthopedic support across general orthopedics, spine, and post-operative management
  • Perform routine in-office diagnostic and therapeutic interventions (e.g., joint injections, aspirations, splinting/casting, and suture/staple removal) to ensure efficient patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 1 year of experience preferred.
