Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment interventions following physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor, document, and report patient status, vital signs, and responses to treatment using electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and facility staff to develop and update individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards across varied clinical settings
- Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other ancillary staff as appropriate to assignment
- Respond to emergencies, prioritize care in fast-paced environments, and escalate concerns promptly
- Participate in orientation to new facilities and adapt quickly to different workflows, policies, and technologies
