Job Description
The Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in the perioperative hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products, participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care, and distributing medications from the OR pharmacy satellite. Areas of service include PreOp/PACU, Main OR, Cath Lab, Center for Advanced Surgery (CAS), Labor and Delivery, Endoscopy, and Interventional Radiology. Qualifications
HS
1 yr
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Hospital/retail pharmacy technician and/or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Schedule
3rd shift; Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 7pm-5am
