Med Surg Travel Nurse

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg Travel Nurse for a night shift assignment in Dallas, TX. In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients, perform assessments, administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor telemetry as needed. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, document in the EMR, support patient and family education, and contribute to safe discharges. Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult Med Surg patients on night shift
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per provider orders
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry and vital signs as needed
• Document accurately in the EMR and maintain detailed patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times
• Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure continuity of care
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and Advantis recruiters throughout the assignment
