Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high quality images according to physician's orders.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, including the provision of safety shields or other protective equipment.
- Administer contrast materials under the direction of a physician as needed for procedures.
- Review and evaluate computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to discuss diagnostic procedures and results.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with CT imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
