District Support Pharmacist

CVS Health seeks a District Support Pharmacist to provide full-time clinical and operational support across multiple pharmacy locations. In this role, you will ensure safe, accurate dispensing, deliver immunizations, counsel patients, and uphold regulatory and quality standards. You'll step in for pharmacy leaders as needed, help train and mentor staff, optimize workflows, and support performance goals. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll advance CVS Health's mission to make high-quality, affordable care accessible in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational pharmacist support across multiple CVS pharmacy locations
• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions while ensuring patient safety and quality standards
• Administer immunizations and provide comprehensive patient counseling
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Support and occasionally lead pharmacy teams, stepping in for pharmacy managers as needed
• Train, mentor, and develop pharmacists and technicians on best practices and workflows
• Manage inventory, including controlled substances, to minimize waste and ensure availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve patient outcomes and store performance
• Resolve medication-related issues, insurance rejections, and customer concerns promptly
• Promote CVS Health programs that enhance medication adherence and access to care
