Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU/Stepdown patients on travel assignments
• Continuously monitor vitals, telemetry, and clinical status, escalating concerns promptly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with facility protocols
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and infection control standards
• Adapt quickly to new hospital settings, workflows, and equipment
