UCHealth is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Inpatient I to support safe, accurate medication delivery for hospitalized patients. Responsibilities
- Prepare, label, and package inpatient medications under pharmacist supervision
- Fill automated dispensing cabinets and medication carts accurately and on time
- Process medication orders in the pharmacy system, ensuring proper documentation
- Maintain inventory, rotate stock, and check for expired medications
- Compound simple sterile and non-sterile products per policy and safety standards
- Assist with medication deliveries to patient care units and respond to STAT requests
- Follow all regulatory, safety, and infection-control procedures
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other care team members
- Support quality, accuracy, and patient-first service in a fast-paced hospital setting
