Job Description

UCHealth is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Inpatient I to support safe, accurate medication delivery for hospitalized patients. In this entry-level role, you will prepare and package medications, fill automated dispensing cabinets, manage inventory, and assist with sterile and non-sterile compounding under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, label, and package inpatient medications under pharmacist supervision
  • Fill automated dispensing cabinets and medication carts accurately and on time
  • Process medication orders in the pharmacy system, ensuring proper documentation
  • Maintain inventory, rotate stock, and check for expired medications
  • Compound simple sterile and non-sterile products per policy and safety standards
  • Assist with medication deliveries to patient care units and respond to STAT requests
  • Follow all regulatory, safety, and infection-control procedures
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other care team members
  • Support quality, accuracy, and patient-first service in a fast-paced hospital setting
