UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered healthcare in Colorado, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery (L&D) Birth Center for the night shift. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment focused on delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. As an RN in our Birth Center, you will play a key role in managing all stages of labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and comforting experience for patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and postpartum periods.
- Administer medications and perform medical interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on postnatal care and lactation best practices.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and progression.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or complications during all stages of labor.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
