Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care under RN preceptor supervision
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per UCHealth policies
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care coordination
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHRParticipate in fellowship classes, simulations, and skills validation
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
- Contribute to quality improvement and unit-based projects
