Job Description

UCHealth is seeking RNs for a structured fellowship designed to support new graduates and early-career nurses transitioning into acute care practice. Fellows provide patient-centered care under the guidance of expert preceptors while rotating through specialty units. Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care under RN preceptor supervision
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments per UCHealth policies
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care coordination
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHRParticipate in fellowship classes, simulations, and skills validation
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to quality improvement and unit-based projects
  • Demonstrate UCHealth values of compassion, respect, and teamwork
