UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated registered nurse to join our ICU Float Pool across multiple shifts. In this role, you will provide critical care to patients in various intensive care units, adapting swiftly to differing clinical environments while upholding the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care and monitor the health status of patients across different ICU settings.
- Adjust to the varying pace and specific needs of each ICU environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and maintain detailed patient records.
- Engage with patients' families to discuss care plans and updates.
- Participate in continuous education and training to remain abreast of best practices in ICU care.
