Job Description
Medical City Healthcare, in partnership with CryptoAnalyzer, seeks an RN Med Surg Neuro to deliver high-quality patient care on a fast-paced med-surg neuro unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult neurological and post-surgical patients, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and use EMR and evidence-based protocols to drive outcomes. RNs will educate patients and families, monitor neurological status and complex IV therapies, and support safe discharges. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to med-surg neuro patients, including assessments and care planning
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and response to treatments, escalating changes promptly
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and post-surgical care per physician orders and protocols
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMRCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards to ensure optimal outcomes
- Participate in continuous learning, unit-based projects, and performance improvement initiatives
