Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during catheterization procedures, balloon angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and other cardiac procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining techniques and routine pre-procedure tasks.
- Operate and maintain all cath lab equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition during procedures, notifying appropriate medical team of any issues.
- Document all procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Participate in emergency care as needed.
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to hospital protocols.
