Job Description
Methodist Hospital Texsan, a leading institution recognized for cardiovascular services, emergency care, and state-of-the-art medical facilities, is seeking a skilled CT Technologist on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This position will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging essential for patient care planning and diagnosis by our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images as per the directives of a physician.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Prepare patients and equipment for CT scans, including adjusting immobilization devices.
- Evaluate the images for quality adequacy and ensure accurate data is available to health care providers.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and radiographic logging.
- Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to evaluate imaging results.
