As a Special Procedures Tech, you will work closely with a team of medical professionals to provide critical diagnostic and interventional radiology services, which are integral to our diverse array of specialties including bariatric surgery, cardiology, robotic surgery, orthopedics, and maternity services. This role requires technical proficiency, exceptional patient care skills, and the ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI.
- Assist physicians during intricate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with radiation safety guidelines.
- Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and clarity.
- Manage imaging documentation and uphold quality standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency procedures.
