Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Oncology Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. In this role, you'll administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, monitor treatment responses, and manage complex symptoms while providing education and emotional support to patients and families. You'll collaborate closely with oncologists and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans. Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients across the treatment continuum.
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications safely per protocols.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, side effects, and treatment responses.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, symptom management, and self-care.
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans.
- Support patients emotionally, advocating for needs and ensuring a compassionate environment.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow infection control and safety policies.
