WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking a Travel ICU Registered Nurse to provide expert critical care support at partner hospitals. In this role, you'll deliver high-acuity bedside care, manage ventilators and drips, and respond to rapid changes in patient status. You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, follow evidence-based protocols, and document accurately in the EMR. Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity bedside nursing care to ICU patients on travel assignments
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document changes in patient condition
- Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, and other critical care equipment and therapies
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and ICU protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans and rounds
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures
- Respond to emergencies, codes, and rapid response situations promptly and effectively
- Educate patients and families on condition, treatments, and discharge needs
- Adapt quickly to new hospital environments, workflows, and teams
- Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
