Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of bone marrow/stem cell donor and recipient evaluations, testing, and scheduling.
- Provide comprehensive education and counseling to donors, recipients, and families about procedures and expectations.
- Conduct ongoing assessments, triage clinical concerns, and escalate issues to the transplant team as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, labs, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize donor safety and recipient outcomes.
- Track follow-up appointments, lab results, and care plans to support continuity and quality of care.
