Job Description

Methodist Healthcare in San Antonio seeks an RN Bone Marrow Transplant Donor Coordinator to guide donors and recipients through the transplant process. You will coordinate evaluations, testing, and scheduling; educate patients and families; ensure regulatory-compliant documentation; and collaborate closely with physicians, lab, and transplant teams. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all phases of bone marrow/stem cell donor and recipient evaluations, testing, and scheduling.
  • Provide comprehensive education and counseling to donors, recipients, and families about procedures and expectations.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments, triage clinical concerns, and escalate issues to the transplant team as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, labs, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize donor safety and recipient outcomes.
  • Track follow-up appointments, lab results, and care plans to support continuity and quality of care.
