RN Nurse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff on assigned unit or shift
• Coordinate and oversee delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
• Conduct patient assessments and assist with complex clinical care as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to nursing staff
• Participate in staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Support quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
• Facilitate effective communication with patients and families
• Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and professional development
