Methodist Healthcare is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver compassionate, evidence-based respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients in a dynamic acute-care setting. Responsibilities

  • Provide age-appropriate respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients
  • Perform assessments, implement physician-ordered respiratory therapies, and monitor patient response
  • Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway clearance techniques
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to develop care plans
  • Participate in emergency responses, including codes and rapid response situations
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, equipment use, and home-care instructions
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMREnsure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of respiratory equipment
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training
