Job Description

HealthONE is seeking New Grad RN Residents to join our comprehensive nurse residency program in Denver. In this full-time role, you'll provide direct patient care under the guidance of experienced preceptors while developing clinical judgment, time-management, and communication skills. Residents rotate through key units, participate in structured classroom and simulation learning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. You'll document care accurately, support patient and family education, uphold safety and infection control standards, and contribute to a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, evidence-based direct patient care under RN preceptor supervision
  • Assess, document, and report patient status using electronic health records
  • Administer medications and treatments per policy and scope of practice
  • Participate in clinical rotations, simulations, and structured residency education
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to support care plans
  • Educate patients and families on care, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards at all times
  • Escalate changes in patient condition promptly and appropriately
  • Engage in feedback, coaching, and competency validation activities
  • Contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered care environment
