Job Description

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care across our Georgia facilities. In this flexible role, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve functional independence in daily activities. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document in the EMR, and educate patients and families. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve ADLs and functional independence
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes in the EMR accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and adaptive strategies
  • Participate in discharge and home safety planning to support safe transitions
  • Adapt interventions across acute, outpatient, and rehab settings as needed
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, ethical, and documentation standards
  • Support a culture of respect, inclusion, and patient-centered care
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
