Job Description
Angel Medical Center seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality inpatient care in our critical access hospital in Franklin, NC. In this role, you'll provide direct nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You'll care for diverse medical-surgical and telemetry patients, educate patients and families, and uphold rigorous safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Perform assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and document in the EHR.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Support emergency situations and rapid response as needed.
- Precept and mentor new staff as appropriate.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and a culture of compassion and respect.
