Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and spirometry.
- Manage ventilators and artificial airway devices for patients who cannot breathe normally on their own.
- Educate patients and families about lung health and disease prevention.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management interventions.
