Travel Med Surg RN

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN to deliver high-quality care at partner facilities nationwide. In this role, you will assess and monitor adult patients, administer medications, coordinate care plans, and document in electronic health records. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, provide patient and family education, and uphold safety and infection-control standards. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans
• Monitor, document, and report patient status and responses to interventions in electronic health records
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Respond to emergencies, perform basic life support, and escalate care as needed
• Support continuity of care through accurate handoffs and participation in care conferences
• Mentor and support other nursing staff and contribute to a positive team culture
