Legacy Health is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to lead patient care and unit operations in a collaborative, patient-first environment. In this role, you will oversee shift assignments, patient flow, and clinical quality while providing direct bedside care. Responsibilities
- Serve as charge nurse for assigned shift, overseeing unit operations and patient flow
- Provide direct bedside RN care including assessment, medications, and interventions
- Coordinate and mentor nursing staff, techs, and support personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans
- Support patient and family education and advocate for patient needs
- Assist with staffing, assignments, and escalation of clinical concerns
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record
