Job Description
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Registered Cardiac Sonographer to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality echocardiograms, including 2D, Doppler, and color flow studies, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and education throughout each exam. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams following established protocols.
- Acquire and analyze 2
- D, Doppler, and color flow images to support accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare preliminary findings and collaborate with cardiologists and the care team.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the exam process.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and report service needs.
- Document procedures and results accurately within the EMR and PACS systems.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing training, QA activities, and process improvement initiatives.
