Job Description
Join TriStar Health as a weekend MSICU Nurse, delivering complex critical care to adult medical-surgical ICU patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care, manage ventilators, titrate critical drips, and respond rapidly to changes in patient status. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care to adult MSICU patients on weekend shifts
- Perform ongoing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Manage ventilators, central lines, and titratable IV drips
- Monitor hemodynamics and respond to rapid changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and protocols
- Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate and support patients and families regarding conditions and care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and handoffs
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Participate in continuous learning, competencies, and performance improvement
