Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations and patient flow in a fast-paced emergency department
- Provide direct bedside nursing care, triage, and continuous patient monitoring
- Supervise, mentor, and support ER nursing staff and ancillary team members
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Participate in staff education, onboarding, and performance feedback
- Respond to emergencies and assist with critical procedures and rapid response situations
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHRSupport patient and family education, advocacy, and service excellence initiatives
- Contribute to process improvement and evidence-based practice projects in the ER
