RN Float Pool

Parkridge Health Network, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN Float Pool nurse to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across multiple inpatient units. In this dynamic role, you'll support fluctuating patient volumes by floating between med-surg, telemetry, and step-down units, performing comprehensive assessments, administering medications, and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across multiple inpatient units as patient volumes fluctuate.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and manage IV therapies following hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float seamlessly between med-surg, telemetry, step-down and other units while adapting to changing priorities.
• Document care accurately in the EHR, ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Support a culture of safety, infection prevention, and continuous quality improvement.
• Precept and support peers, contributing to teamwork and a positive work environment.
