Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans for dogs and cats
- Conduct routine and soft-tissue surgeries, including spays, neuters, and mass removals
- Provide dental procedures including cleanings, radiographs, and extractions as needed
- Interpret diagnostic tests including bloodwork, radiographs, and other imaging
- Educate and counsel clients on preventive care, treatment options, and home care plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, compassionate care
- Participate in case discussions, rounds, and continuing education to support continuous learning
- Uphold hospital protocols for patient safety, anesthesia monitoring, and infection control
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on respectful communication and client service
