RN Manager

Job Description

Adventist Health is seeking an RN Manager to lead our Birth Center and Labor & Delivery unit in Kailua. In this on-site leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient flow while ensuring safe, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns. You will supervise and mentor nursing staff, manage budgets and resources, and drive quality and patient safety initiatives. As part of our faith-based, mission-driven team, you will help cultivate a culture of compassion, teamwork, and whole-person care, collaborating closely with physicians, midwives, and ancillary teams to deliver exceptional birth experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the Birth Center and Labor & Delivery unit in Kailua
  • Supervise, mentor, and schedule RN and clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
  • Oversee patient flow, staffing levels, and resource allocation to support excellent birth experiences
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based nursing practices
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams on care planning and quality initiatives
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and implement process improvements
  • Manage budgets, supplies, and equipment for the unit
  • Support orientation, training, and ongoing professional development of nursing staff
  • Promote a faith-based, mission-driven culture and whole-person care for patients and families
  • Participate in on-call leadership coverage and performance evaluation of unit staff
