Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in fast-paced ER settings
  • Triage patients, administer medications, and perform emergency interventions per physician orders and protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Operate and monitor ER equipment, including cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and ventilators
  • Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
  • Adapt quickly to new hospital environments, policies, and workflows while on travel assignments
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
