Job Description

This position will provide diagnostic imaging for patients in order to assist patient’s physician in expediting needed care. They will also assist in a QA review to maintain professional standards for themselves and student technologists that they are called upon to assist.

Qualifications

2 yrs
Kentucky State Radiation Operators License + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT RT) + Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire; plus Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) and Certified EKG Technician (CET) within 6 months of hire

Cardiac Cath/EP experience preferred but any rad tech experience is acceptable.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical radiology technician and cath lab experience; have direct patient care experience; be well organized; have exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; outstanding computer skills (to include Microsoft Office); above average customer service skills; active listening skills; a thorough understanding of HIPPA policies, and ACLS and PALS certification.

Schedule

Must be able to work 4, 10-hour weekday shifts 07:00-17:30 and late‑stay coverage based on procedural needs. Occasional holiday call may be required. No routine weekends.
