Job Description
We are seeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgery Physician toprovide 24-hour call coverage at a Level III Trauma Center in Pueblo, Colorado.
Compensation : $3400 Per Day
Position Highlights
- Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
- Weekend Coverage: Yes
- Setting: Hospital/Trauma Call
- Trauma Level: Level III
- Response Time: Must be available onsite within 30 minutes in accordance with Colorado Level III Trauma Center guidelines
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour orthopedic surgery call coverage.
- Evaluate and manage orthopedic trauma and emergency surgical patients.
- Respond to trauma activations and orthopedic consultations.
- Perform procedures and surgical interventions within the scope of a general orthopedic surgeon.
- Provide timely evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of patients requiring orthopedic care.
- Collaborate with emergency medicine, trauma, surgical, and hospital teams.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery - REQUIRED
- Active Colorado medical license or IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of submission
- Active ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Ability to respond onsite within 30 minutes when called
- General orthopedic surgery and trauma experience
