Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Implement and progress individualized treatment plans to improve function and independence
- Assist with resident assessments, goal setting, and care planning
- Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely
- Educate residents and families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety
- Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and infection control standards
- Support discharge planning and recommendations for adaptive equipment
