PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Pine Acres Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Madison, NJ seeks a compassionate Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant to support therapists with resident treatments, mobility, and exercise programs in a skilled nursing rehab setting. Responsibilities include preparing and cleaning therapy areas, assisting with transfers and equipment, monitoring resident comfort and safety, and supporting documentation. Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with resident treatments and exercise programs under supervision
• Prepare, clean, and organize therapy gym and equipment before and after sessions
• Safely assist residents with transfers, mobility, and positioning following care plans
• Monitor and report resident responses, changes, or concerns to licensed staff promptly
• Support accurate, timely documentation by gathering information and updating logs as directed
• Follow infection control, safety, and fall-prevention protocols at all times
• Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and other team members to support resident goals
• Provide compassionate, respectful assistance that upholds residents' dignity and comfort
